Alexander Anderson McKenzie - After an illness of over two years, Alexander A. McKenzie, superintendent of buildings and grounds of Dartmouth College, died at the Mary Hitchcock Hospital, August 25, of Sarsoma of the hip.

Alexander A. McKenzie was born in Burke, New York, January 20, 1865. He entered Dartmouth in the class of 1891, but left college in his junior year to accept a position in Nicaragua, where he remained several years. Returning to college he took the degree of B.S. in 1899. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. At the funeral President Tucker spoke in words not over drawn respecting Mr. McKenzie’s exceedingly high moral worth. Interment was made at Burke.
