Alexander
Anderson McKenzie, born in Burke,
New York, January 20, 1865. McKenzie was a- member of ninety one
in the freshman and sophomore years. In his junior year he left
college
to work on the proposed Nicaragua Canal. He returned to Hanover, and
was inspector of buildings of Dartmouth, 1895-1898: [and is now
appointed] Superintendent of Buildings. He was in the Thayer School
in the class
of 1896. He received his degree of B.S. in 1899 as of the class of
1891.
