died in Prescott, Ontario, from apoplexy 13 August 1915.
He
came from Franklin Academy, joined Phi Delta Theta fraternity, Casque
and Gauntlet, and the Crevologian Club.
Class
President in 1890-91, he received honorable mention in Mathematics
- 1891, in astronomy, chemistry, physics - 1892 and special honors in
mathematics with Phi Beta Kappa standing at commencement, when he was
given the degree of B.L.
He

of New York State Normal College, in editing mathematical textbooks
until his death.
Zora
F. Hiscox
became
his wife 30 December 1907. They had a son, Alexander.
McKenzie
was a man of quiet courage, of most pleasing personality.
Editing
mathematical text-books for nineteen years, finally making
them. He was keenly interested in all Dartmouth affairs and grieved
because
his work did not allow him time to visit Hanover, especially his
class reunion in 1913.
He
was interested with Saint Andrew's Society, and the Burns Club, (two
Scotch societies) also the local Phi Beta Kappa Association (Albany,
Troy and Schenectady members) being a
member
of each society and secretary of St. Andrew's society and Vice
President of the Dartmouth Alumni
Association of Albany.
Had
a very tender heart and would give the last dollar in his pocket to
any one who seemed to be in need, regardless of his own desires or
needs."
