    "The Rev. R. McQueen, who died on 14th March 1915. was born in Braemar in 1833. After completing his curriculum, partly in Aberdeen and partly in Edinburgh, he was appointed to the charge of a mission station at West Port, Hawick, and became first pastor of the congregation constituted five years later. Later he was transferred to Dundee and thereafter to Knockando, where he labored until his retirement about 1900. Since then he has resided at Tankerton."
